Alp us, Our Cable Car is Stuck

#1 by Voltman , Fri Sep 09, 2016 7:48 am

This is unbelievable.

Not only is the cable car operator running the service in high winds but people are getting on it.
The wires get crossed due to the wind and the cars are stuck.
You might be thinking the people are alright because they are dressed for cold weather but according to the pictures even that isn't always the case.

"An operation to rescue people trapped overnight in a series of cable cars in the French Alps has resumed."

Know what you mean ,dont like hanging by a bit of wire miles above the ground ,when it's blowing a gale.

Something like that could send you right of the rails.

I would rather be left there hanging by a bit of wire than to have it break.
