Island of Madeira Burning

This is bad, Madeira is only a small island and has a steep incline going inland from the coast.

Can't begin to imagine what it must be like to be near one of those fires, must be really scary even for the fire fighter's.

They had the floods a few years back, now the fires! Just how much bad luck can this small island have?
