Egyptair are in the news again having lost Flight MS804.
It was flying from Paris to Cairo and disappeared just 165 miles off the coast of Egypt.

"EgyptAir said the plane, which was travelling at an altitude of 37,000 feet disappeared in Egyptian air space at 02:30 a.m.,
some 165 miles from the Egyptian coastline, before it was due to land at 03:15 a.m."

"A Greek defence ministry source said authorities were also investigating an account from the captain of a merchant ship who reported a ‘flame in the sky’ some 130 nautical miles south of the island of Karpathos."
"The weather was clear at the time the plane disappeared, according to weather reports."
"Speed and altitude data from aviation website FlightRadar24 indicated the plane was cruising at the time it disappeared."

I suppose it won't be long before we find out if it was a tragic accident or terrorist related.

I can understand wanting a memorial service, most people would want some sort of closure.

Muslims are disposed of within twenty four hours of death.
Even without a body it would make sense that the same rule applies when death is a certainty.

It would seem a fire broke out at the front of the aircraft just before it stopped communicating with air traffic control.
