Is that about 86f if it is it's a bit to much for me ,to hot effects my breathing and cant do much at all .

No Jo according to my thermometer, 38c is around almost 100f . Not too pleasant when it's sunny all day.

That is seriously hot, don't think I could stand that for long ,it would crease me up on no time.

It puts me to sleep.

A fan only moves air it doesn't cool it.
It's the evaporation of sweat on your outer covering, probably skin, that gives the feeling of coolness.
That doesn't help plants and furnishings.

So get an evaporative cooler, it will do a small amount of cooling.
If you really think we are in for some decent warm weather then a refrigerating cooler will be better, it will need a hole in the wall to be effective.
