Thanks Denise!

I will have to dig some of my Green Men out of their boxes shortly and get some pics!! Laugh!!

Has everyone seen the Custard Factory example? He seems rather over-powering and God-like to me, for a Green Man, so he's evidently not a typical example of the type....... Evidently a keen rugger player, if his 'box' is anything to go by!! Laugh!!!!

All the best to everyone,

Nick

Denise

Next time you speak to him ask what the leather strap on his thumb is for? I'd be interested to know. Is it to stop the chisel slipping, to stop blistering, or protection from the mallet if he misses his aim?

He's a whopper!!!! Laugh, laugh!!!

I'd love to be able to carve (stone, wood, or whatever). I became marginally proficient with clay a good few years back - i.e. 'building stuff up' - but 'cutting something back' in a creative fashion is something I've never tried, to be honest......

Nick

I've just taken a look through a few old boxes of stuff on top of the wardrobe to see if I'd got anything left over from my college / sculpting days almost two decades ago....... Unfortunately, I gave all of the passable stuff away to friends and only kept the rubbish bits for myself!!!

However, this little brown (somewhat 'chipped') chappie is quite topical I suppose, given this thread!! Laugh!!!

All the best,

Nick
