Jess Phillips on Broad Street.

Our beloved, and mostly unseen, local councillor has declared Broad Street at weekends to be as dangerous a place for women as Cologne was on new years eve.
As she wasn't in Cologne on that night I fail to see how she could possibly know it was like.

As to Broad Street, it's her useless Labour council that fails to provide sufficient policing to make it a safe place.
I wonder how long it will take her to pull her foot out of her mouth?

Not having seen the relevant program I clicked on the link and got about 3 seconds of the lady's speech , which was then immediately interrupted by an advert. I'm not yet sure which, the advert or the speech, contained the most cr*p

Well it didn't take her long to confirm my thoughts that she is a complete idiot. I doubt this will be her only faux par!

Don't worry volty. I find it easier to be deaf to advertising rubbish than political rubbish as , by there nature adverts are rubbish

I am still trying to work out how she was elected. it must have been a protest vote. I know a lot of people didn't like John Hemming, but I have known him personally for a few years and I know him to be approachable and he cared about his area.
