Volty I know it is a much smaller way but as someone who is in Brum around 7.00 -7.30 every morning we are already part way there, and with the clock climbing to 9.00-9.30am it only gets worse.

Even if we had only electric cars we would still have the noise,
As it is illegal to sound a car horn under most circumstances in this country I don't understand why they are fitted at all. They should at least be linked into the cars electronics to ensure the car is moving before they can be used.
