I agree if me and my wife go out at night which is very rare we go by taxi, door to door, regardless of the cost ,at least you feel safe.

To true lyn i remember when you could walk the street safely ,not any more what happened to our country,i'm sure it wasnt so violent years ago.

jo i have to agree with you...i also think its not as safe as it used to be to let children out to play on the streets...in my day our mom could never get us in...

morning volty yes i know the young man who was attacked was 21 i did read the report...i was mearly pointing out that as a mom of four i am quite sure that my parents felt safer about me playing on the streets than i did raising my lot..its a far nastier and dangerous world now and once a parent always a parent...we never stop worrying about them no matter how old they are...

well it was not so cold today...managed to get a couple of xmas pressies wrapped not started me cards yet..too early to put up the decs ..

Evening all hope you all had a good day ,cold but reasonably dry,my wife said she is doing most of her christmas shopping on line this year.then later says she is going to the market tomorrow to do some christmas shopping.I will never understand women.

Silly boy Jo. What it is is that she was doing all her Christmas shopping for family and friends online, but for the new hat, dress, coat etc for herself, she had to go into town to check it fitted
