Quote: lynne webb wrote in post #24222 Evening SB, you have been busy, all I've done is clear out the cubby hole under the stairs. Dont know why we hang on to all the junk but I have filled a black bag. That sounds like a worthwhile job Lyn.
Just out of interest can anyone tell me why we all call it a Cubby hole and What is a Cubby?.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.http://brummiestalking.org.uk/

All I can suggest is :Possibly from the term "cub" in old english related to "stall, pen, cattle shed, coop, hutch". Apparently in South Africa, Zimbabwe & Barbados it is the glove compartment in a car. I suppose in the first two cases it could also be a place to keep your lion cubs
