well ive just got back from the hospital...those bites i had at the top of me arm last night turned nasty...been given antibiotics and anti hystamine tabs to try and stop the itching which is driving me barmy..cant see me getting much sleep tonight...dont know why im posting this as im prob talking to myself [Crying]

Not at all.
Sounds quite serious for a few mossie bites.
Might I suggest two things that have served me well for many years, in some quite hostile environments?

Well I will anyway, you can't stop me now.

First, eat garlic. Fry some fresh cloves of garlic, preferably in tasteless oil, and eat them as if they were fried onions.
Second, use Jungle spray, it come in various strengths, they all work for me and also keep the bluebottles away, but don't get it in your eyes or breath the mist.\

This is a preventative measure, by the way.
