Evening lyn ,I have been making nest boxes in the shed for the wild birds,jan read if you put them out now they use them for shelter in the bad weather ,and will probably nest in them next spring.

These little boxes are safe ,we can see them from our kitchen window ,and are well up of the ground,so they should be safe from any cats.

Nest boxes would be quite safe in your garden Lyn, I'm sure your cats wouldn't use them.
