enjoy your meal SB have a good night although i must say im disgusted at what they have done to the the bell...i grew up with that pub as my aunt and uncle lived in the maisonettes in bell lane and used to take me to the gardens of the bell quite often and ive been there many times over the years...i was down that way a couple of months back taking pics of it...completely knocked the guts out of it and the outside is no better...think its 17th century...still i guess we are lucky its still standing really..thats my moan over... i will shut up now[Funny]

We had a nice meal at The Ginger Tree Marston Green. The food was very good as was the service, but we will never go there again. There were so many noisy kids and screaming babies accompanied by ignorant adults it was like having a meal in a city centre MacDonalds. As it's on the edge of Chelmsley Wood not too surprising.

Good evening everyone, we had a great day today. Astoness, her friend, Myself and my wife Jo all went along to the National Memorial Aboretum for the Re-dedication of the famous Post office marble memorial tablet.
The whole thing was carried out very sensitively
The Arboretum itself is absolutely amazing. It is vast. Well worth a visit and we are still reeling from the massive scale of it. Worth a look even
if you are only interested in gardens.
I can only congratulate Lyn for her monumental effort in getting today's re-dedication effected and organised. Lyn took no part and made no effort to seek any personal glory today, she just stood back and made sure this was a special day for the Post office and the relatives of the men named on the tablet. Three cheers for Lyn i say and God bless you for your important work on this issue. Well done. SB
