At our local market they still use pounds and ounces, one stallholder was done for it by the council, all his friends on the market clubbed together to help pay his fine,in court he told magistrates old people dont understand metric.

Jo I was brought up with pounds feet and gallons but trust me when you get used to it metric is so much easier, especially when it comes to mental arithmetic.

Or one of mine is : Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today. If you enjoy it today you can always do it again tomorrow,

We use to grow seeds in the green house but one frost and no heater in there ,you lose most of them,so we get our's of the friday market,we are trying to get shrubs mostly so you don't have to keep replaceing every year. Got 4 buddlia bushes they grow quite tall and butterflies go for them in a big way.
