Anyone who thinks he is worth £100,000 for 3 days a week and does not think he should be available when required in emergencies deserves to be sacked , as do those who agreed to his appointment and the salary

He has as much right to be on holiday as anyone else and you can hardly blame him for the rain.
Insurance companies will be calling the floods an act of god. You won't get one of them for 100k/annum.
