"An Australian court has ordered products in the Nurofen pain relief range off the shelves, saying the UK-based manufacturer misled consumers."
The manufacturer claims the order only applies to Australia, they don't say whether or not they are ripping us off in the UK.

I heard this earlier, apparently they are selling different kinds for different complaints, trouble is they are all identical. I am not allowed Neurofen anyway.

I remember looking at the packaging some time ago and wondering why thye spefically said some were for one purpose over another. If I remember rightly some are different, like having added caffeine or something like that but nothing special. I think a mix with paracetanol can be good for some things (though other cheaper brands are available). Anyway I never buy Nurofen unless its an emergency and that is the only one available. Proprietary Sainsbury or other firm's products
(labelled Ibuprofen) are just as good and a fraction of the price

Reckitt Benckiser are conveniently ignoring the fact that they charge more for the specific pain packaged products than they do for the standard yet identical product.
