ahh bless him....well done to the PDSA...i have heard it said that they put animals down just for the sake of it because it relies on charity funding but this is a load of nonsense...if they can save a pet they will....many years ago one of our cats got run over..the PDSA saved her life and also fitted a metal pin in her hip so that she could walk again and kept her in for 3 nights...i have nothing but admiration for them

I think it is the RSPCA that have a reputation for putting down animals that are perfectly OK. Certainly in the case of dogs

Fond a cat, badly injured leg long time ago ,phoned PDSA all they said was if you bring it here we will put it down, regardless of it's injured leg ,took it next day to vet,s he done a good job and the cat lived but had a limp.
