Car Crash Ignored By Scottish Police, Young Lady Dies

How much of this is down to Police cuts.

How did it take 4 days to respond it beggers belief

This is either bad practice or bad Policing, either way a major investigation is called for this could easily happen again.

You could understand it more if it happened on a b road but a motorway ?

It would seem that the Scottish police only received one call, on 101, and then forgot about it.
How many people passed the car and said nothing?

When a police car was in collision with another car in Yardley last week the response was immediate and massive.
What annoyed me was that the many police in attendance did no policing in the aftermath, cars and buses were driving over pavements occupied by pedestrians, pedestrians were eventually denied through fare for reasons of privacy but there were no measures put in place to redirect traffic safely.

I remember an almost identical crash a few years back and there were no privacy issues while a woman was cut out of her car in the presence of just two coppers.

It is nothing to do with financial cuts.

If the police had attended promptly ,that woman may still be alive today,they left two young children ,now without either parent.

At least someone thinks more could have been done…

The way the Emergency services have been cut back, I fear there are more lives to be lost.

When something happens like this they hold a enquiry about it and the enquiry costs
more than the cut backs

The only thing they have'nt cut back on ,is there pay ,10% rise starting the end of july and back dated to the start of this parliament.
