Just a quick note folks to say that this years Saint George's day concert will be held again at the Symphony Hall on Saturday 25th of April. SB and his wife Jo have been on the st. George's day commitee for many years now and what a fine job they and the others do of organising this event..so can I urge all you Brummies out there if you can make it come along with your flags.. support St. George and indeed the city of Birmingham...more details later on from SB but just for now here is a bit of rough footage I shot at the end of the concert in 2013 just to get you in mood..not easy waving a flag taking video and trying to sing at the same time...
Thank you Lyn I couldn't have put it better myself. Yes we have a great concert this year to celebrate our Patron Saint St. George. A fine evening headed by Malcolm Stent and Don Maclean. Tickets £15 an excellent price to pay for an evening at the great Symphony Hall Birmingam one of the worlds best concert venues.
went to the st georges parade last night..what an atmosphere...never seen anything like it...just a sea of hundreds of bike and cars..fantastic turnout..children in cars with parents and all ages on bikes from teenagers to 70 years olds...will post some photos tomorrow and some video footage which is just uploading onto you tube..
it was great jo...so good to see so many children there as well...its the young ones that need to know and be involved in st georges day to keep the flag flying for england...

Having been a St Georges Day supporter and organiser for a few years I can say that everyone says someone should do something and when some one does. You try getting people to help and support you.
