Tug Crashes Into Ship In Solent

The stricken capsized ship in the Solent has been clouted by one of it's tugs.

I should imagine it's very difficult maintaining position at sea in those strong winds.

Must say thought sprouts were bad ,jan made pea and ham soup with onions in as well .OMG it was absolute torture the next day ,and theres some left ,and she's frozen it for another time,hope it get's lost in the bottom of the freezer.

Not a job I would want to do, those waters are well protected but they are also very busy shipping lanes.

As an update, I drove past today. The ship is off the sandbank and although afloat is still listing severely.

Thanks for the update Bestcover, Welcome to our forum I would imagine if that ship is now floating but managed to sink in the shipping lanes it would cause havoc in the Solent.

Perhaps they could get some old scrap ships to attach to it as buoyancy aids and float them all off to the scrapyard.
