The biggest problem the Church of England is facing at the moment is an ageing congregation. Although many young people are involved tha average age of C of E members is 61 and rising. If more young people are not encouraged to join the church the future isn't very good. The Church of England is in the process of running an initiative to try to correct this situation, it's called Growing Younger.
