Dogs Killed In Kennels Fire

#1 by Sheldonboy , Fri Sep 12, 2014 7:27 pm

60 dogs dead because of some vile little shit (no appologies). The fund at lunchtime had reached over £500,000
A guy ringing in to Radio Two at lunchtime said this is rediculous would all this money have come about if it had been people, "It's only dogs " he said.
These dogs did not ask to be Bred, they did not ask to be kicked out, they did not ask to be locked in cages. 60 of them died in screaming agony, luckily enough and thanks
to the brave and swift action of a couple of young lads many more were rescued. If we as one species wish to keep another species as locked up prisoners we have to take our responsibilities seriously and look after them.
The fund as at 7pm was at £860,000 Fantastic lets hope it reaches a Million by the end of the day.

The company my wife works for has a Depot in Manchester, they are called Orbis. they specialise in property protection and clearance. They have offered to send teams in to clear the site. This happened earlier today just hours after it happened.

I have just read on BBC news that the fund is up to £1,000,000.

Lock him in a kennel and set light to it. His age should have nothing to do with it. If people are like that at 15, then they will be like it at 25.

I find it difficult to believe that, in these days of hypersensitvity to risk, a blaze can sweep through any structure let alone one filled with animals.

My first reaction was that the buildings would not be approved for normal use if they were that inflammable. From the look of the remains they were probably all plywood with possibly those resin-type corrugated roofs, so no surprise it went up so easily

I suppose this is one of those events that will forever inform the builders and owners of similar structures.
