There's hardly any round this wayThat's one up on us the closest pub to us is the St Bernards Grange, that is over half a mile from us, but it's been bastardised anyway having a wacky warehouse I wouldn't go near it.

The next thing to go are Churches, some with centuries of rich history and architecture. It's one reason I go to our church apart from worship. If we don't use em we lose em. They all cost a lot of money to run. It's happened to our ship builders, car factories, pubs etc etc. Churches are great community centres as were pubs.

Our local pub, The Chestnut Tree. A one time M&B pub of the year, had a good Domino team, Darts team, and a massive Fishing Club. It also had a great OAP committee who gave our local old people day's out and meals and shows in the summer and at Christmas. in other words a really good community centre.
