Birmingham Wireless Festival

#1 by Voltman , Fri Jul 04, 2014 5:32 pm

All the excitement of Glastonbury on our own doorstep.
Well, perhaps it is more like the excitement of a wet afternoon in a park but there are some fantastic acts appearing on as many as three stages.
Bruno Mars, Who?, Kanye West, Who?
Drake are not appearing, Who? and Ellie Goulding, Robin Thicke, Rudimental, Labrinth, Outkast and Pharrell Williams, sorry to repeat myself, Who?
They are all appearing in London at the same time it seems, is that where the wireless bit comes in?

So, if you want to enjoy your weekend, avoid Perry Barr.

and it will cost you £ 172 for a three day ticket to the event, some of which you listen to by wireless??!!. This includes a £12 booking fee but does not included a mandatory per transaction order processing fee which will vary depending on how much they think the market can bear. Not quite clear of the difference between a booking fee and a transaction order processing fee . And, sorry to disappoint you , but if you are really dumb and have far too much money for your own good, you are limited to 6 tickets

Lynne,
Try earplugs.
And stop sitting out in the rain, it ain't good for yer bones.

Mike, the six ticket limit is one of the reasons I'm not going.
There are hundreds of others, including the fact that I hadn't heard of it until today.

They had complaints about the noise so had to turn the speakers round. It's Kanye West tonight, wow.
