this is interesting..my problem is i can remember going into some of these clubs but have very little memory of coming out

I frequented some of these Lyn. Mothers in Erdington was the best in the world bar none and totally changed my way of thinking, my appreciation of music and really changed my life.
Have been in The Elbow room and Club Cedar in Constitution Hill was another favourite. I also spent a lot of time in La Dolce Vita. There were one or two others notably the Factory in Gas Street owned by Martin Hone an ex racing driver who was one of the people who instigated the Birmingham super Prix. Nice man he was. SB

one regret of mine never knowing about or going to mothers...i was too busy at the rollar rink during the years mothers was going..mind you i would probably have never got in then as in those days even slapped up with make up on i would never have looked old enough..i would be ok now though

If you were a mothers girl Lyn you probably wouldn't have used much make up. It was more of a Hippie paradise.
