I certainly agree their salary should be reduced, as should that of all MPs . A level of £65,000, as long as it includes all expenses, would probably be reasonable

This thread seems to have become two mixed together. My previous reply was to the item on police commissioners. As to the
skewered testicles,I can think of a few people who might be suitable candidates.

There is a big difference between Scrotum and Testicles.
The scrotum has very few nerve endings, offers no resistance or awkwardness to a nail and is probably as painless to puncture as an ear.
The word testicles should never have appeared.

Re the Police Commissioner story.... I didn't know there was a candidate, I didn't know the date of the election, I wasn't offered the opportunity to vote, I was out of the country at the time of the election and I was unaware that I had missed said election until some months later.
I still don't know who the commissioner for my area is, or what he does.
