What Has Made You Smile Today?

#1 by The Mitz , Thu Jan 02, 2014 3:37 pm

Been to see the solicitors about our new house, and all is proceeding wonderfully ..... should be there by late February
Estate agent rang to say someone wants a second viewing of our present property, so there's hope of an early sale

Except you will probably have to do all your own packing this time.

I did all my own packing that time :-)
I hired the van, packed the boxes, loaded the van, unloaded the van, and then sat in the corner of a dark room for hours

Having returned to work after Christmas just yesterday and spending a day and a half stocktaking, trust me I was ready to go to the coast and jump in the sea.
I do smile a lot usually while other people are moaning about my humour, which has followed me around for many years. Not helped by my mates, one of whom bought me a book for Christmas: Crap Dad's Jokes. it's very good.

As Volty will tell you I have taken great pleasure telling Crap jokes for most of my life.
(a sample) :
a woman saw a man playing chess with his dog.
"That's a clever dog" she said.
"Not really he doesn't win very often"[Little LOL]

Let me know when you want some more.
