Yardley Wood Windmill

I have just come across this, does anyone remember Yardley Wood windmill. I have never seen a photo or heard anyone mention a windmill in Yardley Wood, not the sort of place you would expect to find one. But there definitely was one. It was demolished in the 50s

Can you really believe there was a windmill still standing in Yardley in the 50s. How come its hardly mentioned in any books
