I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

It stopped being sacred (apart from the sellout) when they introduced such awful abominations as bars containing popcorn and chocolate covered pretzels, all undoubtedly introduced only because the profit margin on them must be much larger because they use cheap ingredients, but cost the same as those using more expensive ingredients

This isn't a loss anyway, they failed to get away with being childish is all that occurred.
How can it be right that a business can practically 'own' a colour?
Cadbury didn't invent the colour, it is public property in all it's possible shades.
As mike points out, they committed a crime against chocolate. I have no sympathy for Cadbury anymore, it's just another yankee pedlar of junk.

As I understand it they did not earlier succeed in registering it for everything, not even confectionery or chocolate products, but just for milk chocolate and then only if it was the predominant colour . Apparently Harrods have succeeded in registering the odious green they use, and Lamboutan (or however it is spelt) for soles to stupid and ugly shoes.

I'll find out what shade of green Harrods are using and use it myself for everything except my department store.
In HTML colours can be defined by a 139 names or by six bit hexadecimal numbers. The bits are in three pairs representing the three on screen colours, Red, Green and Blue.
This gives a mixture of 256 shades of each colour which produces a total of nearly 17 million colours. (256x256x256 = 16.777216)
Hexadecimal numbers are 0 to 9 followed by A to F.
Black is all zeros as there are no colours present, 000000.
White is all Fs as it requires the maximum value of each colour, FFFFFF.
Harrods say that their green is RGB R58 G75 B1. which is HEX 3A4B01
Harrods green has to be in there somewhere so it could be used on-line anytime by anyone without knowing or deliberately by just changing 1 bit by 1.
