I'm not sure why these people haven't got windows but this is a brilliant idea......

We have something similar in this country where dim areas have daylight fed to them by glass fibre pipes made off into a light fitting. They provide enough light on a clear day to negate the need to turn on electric lighting.

That seems a very good idea, though of more use in countries with bright sunlight most of the time. You would have to be careful not too put too much bleach in the water though, else it might attack the plastic and cause it to fail while you were underneath, giving you an unexpected shower from the bottle
