Parking

Eric Pickle talks utter rubbish one minute then good sense the next.

First he says motorists should be allowed to park on double yellow lines for up to fifteen minutes.
If enough motorists did that the lines would be parked on all day, might as well just get rid of them.

Now he says homeowners should be able rent out their driveways for parking, without paying the council for the privelege. I can't beleive councils think they can interfere to the extent of demanding planning permission for something that the driveway was built for in the first place.
