The trouble is that those people who get on with people and know what thye are talking about are not appreciated by the powers that be, who prefer pratts who talk a load of bullshit and irritate anyone with taste

The thing is though Mike, television doesn't like clever because if it did there would be no place for programmes like Big Brother and Get Me Out of Here. On top of them we have the inane talent (that's a misnomer) shows and dance competitions whatever happened to informative and entertaining programmes. Do they still make Time Team?
