And footballers I hope. As all these people are well off, perhaps, because of the situation now facing the country which means we all have to pull in our belts, the cost of their sentence should be extracted from their fortunes, apart from any , hopefully large, fines and penalties

I remember some time back, Birmingham Council brought in a scheme where if a contract was awarded and the Council ended up losing money then the person awarding the contract became liable for the amount if negligence was proved. Another good idea that didn't last long.

I agree. an excellent idea. I particularly like the idea of Osborne losing his millions and going into bankruptcy
