in all the turmoil of mrs t passing we have all forgotten this great man who pioneered test tube babies, he should be given the great send off that he deserves because of the wonderful legacy he has left behind,

Too true Steph, Good work Mr Edwards RIP

I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

If I'm honest I have to say that I didn't know much about the man I suppose that was because we never had any problems of that sort, but I have once again to be honest and say that I couldn't imagine a life without children. So well done Mr Edwards a sad loss to humanity.

yes, apparently he was very reserved he did not want any pats on the back until his first success, louise, brown i think, was able to produce her own child naturally. strangely enough i can remember her being born.
