What A Shambles
This is the place where Brummies used to chat about Birmingham old and new along with anything else that interests us.

It was a done deal..the gaffer of the king Edward came to an arrangement with the council to remove himself from the kings edward so that the council could demolish it and he would take over the almost derilict aston tavern pub near aston hall..scaffolding has already been erected to start the renovation of it...and now this...i small a rat here in fact i smell several...but lets face it what else can we expect from bcc...this city is a laughing stock...

It makes you wonder who had been promised the site, it might be worth a look in the local planning applications. Is there a new Tesco's in the offing. Birmingham Council don't care what they pull down to let them build wherever they want

But they would never let Tesco build over an ancient road, pull up a bunch of historic trees and build a car park and a petrol station in a recreation ground, would they?
I shouldn't think the councillors would even try to look at Google unless a brown envelope was slipped into their hand. Then they would just carry out the instructions with the money as to which side of the building they should look at.
