Over five years, Britain is withdrawing 16,000 troops out of Germany. Some bases will close some will expand in this country. The SNP are worried that there will be fewer troops in Scotland. Aren't they the ones who want independence. OK let's have independence but still sponge off the Mother Country, just like the rest of the world.

To be very honest, can you see them letting Scotland have their own army? Or letting them lay claim to some of the best regiments in the British army. Well those that are left anyway.

Prince Charles is Royal Colonel of the 51st Highland, 7th Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Scotland, so if they did have their own army we could pack him off there for good away from normal sane people. The Scots are welcome to him
