Yes I was sorry to hear about Richard Briars Passing. He was a fine actor and a friendly face, very rare these days. RIP

Also Derek Batey I couldn't stand Mr and Mrs but he seemed like a Genuinly nice guy. RIP Derek

Richard Briers was a star in the acting world and, whenever he was interviewed, always came across as a real gentleman. I particulary liked him as "Martin" in Ever Decreasing Circles and will never forget the episode when he was trapped in the loft and also the one when he was Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator, constantly being ribbed by Paul.

I will admit that Richard Briers was good at his craft, but I have to say that in "The Good Life" they all carried each other, but the star of the show was Felicity Kendal and won't hear any different. RIP Richard.

As for Derek Batey, sorry too smarmy.

RIP TO THEM BOTH.

I thought the Good Life was great fun and always enjoyed it.
I did not like Mr and Mrs.....boring really but he seemed like a nice enough chap.
