Is this a good thing or a bad thing.

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity,
and I'm not sure about the former.

I've never been one for gambling (for money anyway) as it doesn't do anything for me (other than be very boring). however most of these developments originate from very dubious people who the planet would be better off without, so it certainly isn't a good thing

I was always an avid card player and have to say that I have walked away from a card table as a winner a lot more times than I have a looser. After saying that I have to say that I have never played in a regulated casino environment. I'm afraid the games that are played in those establishments are far too much in favour of the house.

I have to say that even in unlicensed spielers I feel you have more chance of winning playing poker or brag even if the house does take a percentage of the winning pot.
