Dollman Street Stores is a little known repository used by Birmingham museums department to store exhibits they do not have room to exhibit. I think when they moved the Science Museum from Newhall St to the Think Tank in Curzon st that it was found to be too small to hold all the exhibits.

So many of the exhibits that were donated by the people and various companies of Birmingham rarely get to see the light of day. They do have special days when the public are allowed in to view but these are very few.

I have been to a couple of the open days and most of the exhibits are stored and stacked in a way that it is only possible to see a fraction of what is held there.

Here is a few photos of some of the exhibits that you can see.
