Brum's Big Art Project

#1 by astoness , Wed Jul 31, 2013 6:34 am

now i actually like the idea of this..some good ideas here but i do like the idea of turning the BT tower into a giant pen or pen nib to signify that for many years we made pen nibs for the world...plus of course many of our ancestors worked in the industry...

Brilliant perhaps the rotunda can be fitted with a pen nib

I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Time will tell SB.
Look at the thing in Centenary Square (no, not Broad Street), that was supposed to represent Birmingham wasn't it?

No, that doesn't represent anything.
I refer to the wonderful eyesore that melted.
It showed something to do with struggle or workers or some such thing.

Well Lyn, some artists tak a lot of twaddle about art being ephemeral and for the moment, so perhaps he hoped someone would drop a cig on it.
